Do you know Tom Browder? Tom is head of the Seeley Lake Community Council, on most of the boards running this town, a cheerful volunteer on so many community projects, and always driving around town in his beetle-teal van.

Among the many ways you might recognize what he’s done for this community: he was one of the volunteers who coordinated Seeley Lake’s 4th of July celebration this year, orchestrating the fly-over from his Seattle hospital room and Zooming in for planning meetings from his hospital bed.

What a vivacious, eternally optimistic Seeley Laker.

He just finished 4 months of stem cell transplants for leukemia and is freshly back, healthy at home.

Rather than a funeral, where you say nice things about a person after they’re gone, let’s have a ‘Tom is Alive’ party!

Saturday Oct 5 from 7pm – 9pm at the Barn, south of Cory’s

BYOB, and bring a finger food to share if you like. We’ll have a little champagne toast to Tom being alive, and just hang out to celebrate a hard working community volunteer.
